o Contract dispute between former XFL commissioner Oliver Luck (father of Andrew Luck) and league owner Vince McMahon spilled into the public eye Wednesday through a series of filings related to Luck’s wrongful termination lawsuit

o According to ESPN, McMahon’s defense group claims he fired Luck “for cause” and uses three examples of failures to comply with XFL policies: gross neglect of the job when the coronavirus pandemic began, signing WR Antonio Callaway without McMahon’s approval and then refusal to release him, and personal use of an XFL-issued iPhone

o Moss told ESPN that he is “tired of the comparisons… I look forward to making a name for myself.”

o Moss comes into the season with a chip on his shoulder after going undrafted despite his outstanding two-touchdown performance in the national championship game against Clemson and his LSU backup being picked in the 7th round by the Seattle Seahawks

o “Having picked kickers and punters, special-teams guys getting picked over me, I definitely felt some type of way over it,” Moss said. “It’s no difference. I’ve always had to prove myself my whole life, having the last name I have. I always had to prove everybody wrong or just prove myself right my whole life.”
